Sickle Cell Support Effort Program
As a First Responder to SCD patients and families in Southern California, the KIS Foundation, Inc., continues its’ promise to keep this under-served community healthy, safe, and supported. Our goal is to provide impactful benefits to at least 100 SCD patients and families yearly.
We are seeking General Operation Support of, and, to benefit the programs and services of The KIS Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, “raising awareness, advocacy, and education” about Sickle Cell Disease.
A portion of our yearly funding will provide essential financial support of The KIS Foundation’s 2025 Sickle Cell Support Effort. The SCSE can include personal support awards, educational scholarships, and partnerships with SCD sister organizations providing awareness, advocacy and most importantly, education.
The KIS Foundation, Inc., is committed to empowering and supporting Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Warriors. We are proud to offer scholarships to help SC Warriors attend the 17th Annual SCD Educational Summit.
Our goal is to enable Warriors who attend the Cayenne Wellness Foundation’s 17th Annual Sickle Cell Disease Educational Summit, September 17 – 20, 2025, to enable them to be better prepared physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially manage most eventualities occurring as a SCD child grows into adulthood and beyond, and also to aide young SCD adults in becoming independently stable as they mature into adult responsibilities, after leaving their parents’ care.
