"Crisis Care Package" Backpack Giveaway

On July 20, 2018, The K I S Foundation, Inc., The County of Los Angeles and Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, in partnership with the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation of California came together for the Inaugural "Crisis Care Package" Backpack Giveaway at Camp Crescent Moon.
We distributed over 120 Backpacks to SCD Camp Attendees and other SCD Patients who were unable to attend due to hospitalization, illness, and other conflicts. Each backpack contained numerous items to benefit the kids before, during, and after a Sickle Cell Crisis.
